During my recent business trip to San Martín de los Andes, I had the pleasure of staying at Hosteria Las Lucarnas, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Just a stone's throw from the main streets, it was brilliantly located for exploring local shops and indulging in the culinary delights that the region has to offer. Our lovely host, Belém, was not just friendly but went out of her way to provide insightful tips on both local hikes and our upcoming South American adventures. The room itself was cozy, complete with a warm fireplace - perfect for unwinding after a day's explorations. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful continental breakfast featuring regional jams and cheeses, setting a wonderful tone for the day ahead. The inviting communal area and helpful staff made it feel remarkably like a home away from home, enhancing our overall experience. If you find yourself in this beautiful part of Argentina, I wholeheartedly recommend Hosteria Las Lucarnas; it's a charming escape that ticks all the boxes for travel enthusiasts and families alike!
